Eat chocolate. Seems like chocolate has a solution to every problem. Anyone with a sweet tooth is always in search of a good chocolate  recipe and here we are on world chocolate day to satisfy your cravings with this super delicious yet easy chocolate brownie recipe and the best part is it gets ready in no time!

When is world chocolate day celebrated?

World chocolate day is celebrated across the world on 7th July every year. The best day for all the chocolate lovers to indulge in some mouth watering chocolate desserts (and the weight you gain on this day is all worth it)! Not just enjoying these desserts  alone, this day is the best excuse to share some with your dear ones!

 

Why do we celebrate world chocolate day?

World chocolate day is celebrated on 7th July every year to celebrate the anniversary of the introduction of chocolate to Europe in 1550.

Ingredients:

  • 50g chocolate of choice
  • 5 tablespoons of all purpose flour/maida
  • 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar or as per taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2-3 tablespoons of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of eno/baking powder
  • Walnuts/chocolate pieces/chocolate chips for garnishing (optional)

Method:

  • Start by melting 50g of chocolate and 2 tablespoons of butter together in the microwave. You can also use a double boiler method to melt the same.

  • Once melted, give it a good mix. The consistency should be flowy so that the dry ingredients easily get mixed.
  • Once done, add in 3 tablespoons of milk (quantity can be adjusted), 5 tablespoons of all purpose flour/maida, sugar as per taste, and ½ teaspoon of eno.
  • Give it a really good mix until the batter is lump free and flowy.

  • Keep it aside and spread butter paper in a microwave safe container.
  • Pour in the batter and tap it once or twice to even it out.
  • Garnish with your favourite toppings.

  • Microwave it for 2 minutes.
  • Put in a knife or a toothpick to know if it’s ready!
  • Garnish it with more chocolate pieces.
  • Once cooled, cut it into shapes of choice and enjoy!
