Highlights Here we are to celebrate them. To dedicate a day and just to remember, "such an idiot I was to miss out on my chances when I could have let him know how grateful I have been" and to question that one thing, do we really need a day to appreciate them for the tons of things they do?!

We all talk about that amazing person who acts as a true savior for us. From "mumma, I cannot find my socks!!" to "I don't feel good, mumma. Need a hug!!". Every now and then we need her around us. That last jar of pickle, to the hostelers, literally makes them sob thinking when will they get home and while returning back to the hostel can pack an extra jar. But there is another person who cannot be compared with anyone and he is the best, isn't it? You got me right. It's our beloved fathers, who are the only support when you need an escape from your mother's rant.

father's day

Fathers are known to occupy that special corner of a daughter's heart where no one can ever reach. Afterall, he is the only man who lets us be totally ourselves. The man that might make you cry once but in his presence no other person on earth can even dare to hurt you, isn't it? You all would agree with this, if I say he is that latent source of inspiration and generosity, that instills different and yet essential life skills. Starting from "managing your finances" to "help a needy", he keeps showering all of his goodness on us.

father's day

On a random day, as I recall, my father mentioned to me "if one day you face a bigger challenge don't ever think that you are an adult now and therefore shouldn't share your worries with me. Instead, just remember that day when one of your friends pulled your hair(in grade 3) and I was the first to know about it from you. You know, you will always be that kid to me no matter how hard adulthood hits you". Then he giggled. And this statement says it all. After all, this society never taught and praised that soft corner of him.

father's day

There are times when you will feel, I wish he could have expressed a little more or in some particular way. But that is all he can show you, whereas deep inside his heart would be hugging you too tight and promising you a forever safety. He is the first man and will be the one who will keep cherishing all that you do, be it being happy, celebrating or extremely annoying or sad. He is the absolute right person to even have a leftist-rightist debate and that too without getting judged.

father's day

Won't brag but mine is a self-made man and I bet there are millions of selfless fathers out there. Maybe we lack in communication or expression and are often left behind to understand him and be understood by him but mark my words, as deep down we all are sure that he loves us without any conditions. He is the one who wouldn't say that if you want me to respect you, you need to do these things, if you need endless care and support, do that…NO! That man gives all he has and with the right intention.

father's day

Let's take this chance and promise not to miss on any other in the up-coming days. Let's wish our heroes A Happy Father's Day! To all the father's out there, I wish everything best for you and forgive me for the days I couldn't express how much you mean to me. Maybe that's because we have the same expression genes! ;)

What is that one question you need to ask yourself?
