FIG AND DATE PALM BARFI

(A)INGREDIENTS
(1)12 Fig -Soaked in warm water
(2) 15 -Date palm
(3)1tablespoon -Ghee
(4)1/2 cup - Cashew and Almonds
(5) 1/2 cup - Dessicated coconut powder
(B) RECIPE METHOD
(1) Soak 12 fig in warm water. Cut fig into small pieces. Also, cut 15 dates palm discarding the seed within.
(2) Make smooth paste of dates and fig. Heat 1tablespoon of desi ghee in a pan and add 1/2 cup of finely chopped cashew and almond
(3) Add 2 tablespoon of Chironji and roast it. Take all dry nuts out in a plate after 5 minutes.
(4) In the same pan, add the figs and date palm paste and cook until the mixture level consistency reduces and mixture leaving sides of pan.
(5) Add 1/2 cup of dessicated coconut powder in the mixture and mixed them properly. Then, add ghee in roasted nuts.
(6) Grease a baking paper with desi ghee. Take the mixture out on the baking paper and let it cool down for half an hour.
(7) Give it a log shape to make round barfi and refrigerate it for 2 hours. Cut barfi from the log after refrigerating.
(8) Apply a sheet of silver edible foil or varak on the dry fruits barfi. Fig and date palm barfi is ready to serve on the plates.
