HEALTHY PISTACHIO BARFI
(A)INGREDIENTS PROVIDED
(1)1cup-Pistachio
(2)11/4cup -Sugar
(3)1/2tbsp -Ghee
(4)1/2tbsp -Cardmom powder
(5)1cup -Water
(6)1/2tbsp -Chopped dry fruits
(B)PREPARATION METHOD
(A) Soak pista in hot water for 10 minutes. Peel the cover of pista and dry roast in kadai for few minutes.
(B) Transfer pista in mixer grinder and grind it into smooth paste.Take a pan add sugar and water in the fixed proportion ratio.
(C)Bring sugar to boil till it reaches one string consistency and add pista paste to the sugar syrup and keep stirring regularly .
(D) Once it becomes thick add one tablespoon of ghee and half tablespoon of cardmom powder in pista barfi mixture.
(E)When the mixture starts leaving the kadai, Switch off the flame and transfer the mixture to a bowl greased with ghee.
(F)When the mixture is still warm, then cut it into square pieces and garnish with some chopped dry fruits. Pistachio barfi is ready to serve on the plates.
