Masala Idli fry recipe :

Ingredients

6 Idlis

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp oil

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

6-8 curry leaves

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1/4 cup tomato, chopped

1/4 cup capsicum chopped

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

2 tbsp tomato ketchup

1/2 tsp pavbhaji masala or garam masala

Salt, if required

Process

  1. Heat a pan on medium flame. Add butter and oil to the pan.
  2. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let it splutter.
  3. Add chopped onion and let it cook till translucent.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and mix well.
  5. Add capsicum, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix everything well.
  6. Add the diced idlis to the pan and mix everything on a high flame for a minute.
  7. Add tomato ketchup and pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
  8. Add salt only if required.
