Masala Idli fry recipe :
Ingredients
6 Idlis
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
6-8 curry leaves
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup tomato, chopped
1/4 cup capsicum chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp pavbhaji masala or garam masala
Salt, if required
Process
- Heat a pan on medium flame. Add butter and oil to the pan.
- Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let it splutter.
- Add chopped onion and let it cook till translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and mix well.
- Add capsicum, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix everything well.
- Add the diced idlis to the pan and mix everything on a high flame for a minute.
- Add tomato ketchup and pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
- Add salt only if required.
