Gunavathy, a resident of Chinnalapatti Village in Tamil Nadu, suffered a Polio attack when she was only two years old. This incident lead to limping gait, a situation where one of her lower limbs got shorter than the other one. After this attack, Gunavathy couldn’t even walk short distances without support. After this, she was married at the age of 16. Belonging to a family of well-settled and educated members, Gunavathy’s mother was always worried about her career but had great belief in her. She supported her in every way and extended every help she needed.

But this setback did not stop the creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit inside of her! Soon, Gunavathy developed her love for quilling, and that was when her amazing journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur started. She was once gifted a piece of jewellery by her friend, which arose her curiosity and; she started taking quilling lessons online. Soon she got one of her very first orders and the praise she got for it was on the next level! This was the start of her business venture called, ‘Guna’s quilling.’
