(A) INGREDIENTS
(1) 3 Apples
(2) 2tbsp -Ghee
(3) 1cup -Sugar
(4)1/2tbsp -Cardmom powder
(5)1pinch -Red food colour
(6)1/2tbsp -Cashew
(B)PREPARATION METHOD
(1) Take 3 apples in a bowl properly peeled, washed and roughly chopped. Grind the apple pieces to a smooth paste.
(2) Take a pan add 2tablespoon of ghee on low flame. Add few cashew pieces and fry in ghee till they are golden brown in colour.
(3) Add apple puree and saute it till the moisture of the puree is absorbed and puree becomes thick in liquid consistency.
(4) Add one cup of sugar and stir it continuously till sugar dilutes the mixture again. Add 1/2tbsp of Cardmom powder in the puree and a pinch of red food colour.
(5)Keep stirring till the halwa becomes thick and add 1tablespoon of ghee more to it.Keep stirring till the ghee is fully absorbed.
(6) Keep stirring till the halwa becomes thick and rolls like a ball without sticking to sides of pan . Add roasted cashewnuts and mix well. Apple halwa is ready to serve on the plates.
