                PLASTIC SPOON PEACOCK 

(A) MATERIAL NEEDED 

(1) Plastic spoon 

(2) Fabric colour 

(3) Glitter sheet 

(4) Cardboard 

(5) Cotton bud 

(6) Decorative stone 

(7) Paint brushes 

(8) Glue gun 

(9) Craft glue 

(10) Scissors 

(11) Pencil 

(12) Colour paper 

(13) Cutter 

(B) STEPS OF MAKING PROCESS 

(1) Take some plastic spoon and paint them as a peacock feather like design. We need several such feather like designed plastic spoons. Make a stencil with a peacock like appearance and use this stencil to draw the outline on a cardboard piece. Cut along with the design as shown. 

(2) Make a stencil of the peacock body with a white paper. Trace it on a cardboard and cut it. Take a cardboard and draw a circle on it. Cut out the circular piece and this will form the base for the plastic spoon feathers. Take a plain coloured paper and cover the circular cut out piece with it. 

(3) Wrap and cover the circular cardboard with a plain coloured paper. Take a glitter sheet. Cut it similar to that of a circular  cardboard and paste the glitter sheet on it. Cut and paste a glitter paper to cover the circular cardboard. 

(4) Take the feather design spoon and arrange them on the circular cardboard piece to give it a peacock feather like appearance. Paste these spoon on the glitter circular cardboard. Take the cotton bud and paint the top and lower portion of the bud only. 

(5) Remove the plastic pipes connecting the buds. Take the peacock shaped cardboard and paste the coloured cotton buds on the body. Take the plastic spoon and cut out the lower portion of it. Leaving behind the bowl of the spoon. This will be used to make the head of the peacock. 

(6) Paint the rest of the body as well along with the head. Define the eyes and beak of the peacock using some colours. Now, to make the peacock crest, paste some coloured buds on the top of the head portion to make it look even more attractive. 

(7) Take the decorative stones and paste it on the feathers of the peacock to give it a shiny touch. Just for some enhanced detailing, apply some glitter on the crest.
