Relationships, The sweetest of the pathos yet an honored ethos with an achingly unclear future. It is the loaded gun on the verge of going off straight in the unwary heart that is ever so irresistible not to get hold of. The social creatures we are born as, relationships intervene every step of our lifeways. Family, Romantic, Friendly relationships leave permanent imprints on us as an individuals than the situational ones yet Maternal Relationship is the closest, strongest and eternal as it births out of women who labours us till the last day of her life.

We nurture, grow, evolve as much we expect, dismay and suffer. Those who once were one’s rock could end up hitting rock bottom with them if the maintenance efforts are no longer mutual. The sweet old whispers turn into unresponded nags, the sea of chatters dries out and all there is to be left is stale love gasping its last breaths. One may yearn to repair, reconcile and relive it but what is to end, ends while the passing time drags one with it far far away.

The broken promises, vanished vows, torn letters and lost keepsakes all weep over the forever which has become as forgotten as them. For they all remember the massive throbbing hearts that held the faiths in them, who clasped them on their bossom, calling them their ‘Sacred Secrets’ and with all so awfully broken, one is to be unbroken.

It would have been far better if love was to be measured somehow, the intensities of the feelings meddle wildly with the chances of the relationships lasting long. This cruel gamble of more and less collapses the world of chances, making the collapse unpreventable. It is also the collapse of egos, memories and shared chemistry. The present world has become so unsocial, self absorbed and indifferent as if we are living in the ‘Wuthering Heights’ which would have astonished even Miss. Bronte: herself had she been here to live in it. Such a disgrace it is to live where mere approach to talk offends people let alone the desire to establish meaningful relationships. People shun away from attachments, conversations and all that cherishes our social well being.

Cutting ties, isolation and alienation are looked up, leaving behind no trail of grace. The sociology textbooks boasts of human mind seeks social connections and interactions and it is their core psychological need essential for feeling satisfied with life. However, it becomes difficult to embrace it as our present is nothing like this. The fear of troubling silences the talkatives. They cry their eyes out for being themselves or rather not being like all others. After all, mortals are hard hearted and kind angles only.

Relationships are to be felt, flourished and celebrate, for the life we will never live again, for the youth that flies away so uncontrollably fast, for the regrets that stay with us even on our deathbeds. No one ever is boring, uninteresting or any less than anyone. We all are ourselves, the irreplaceables for ever and evers.
