- Mirabai Chanu won India’s first Gold Medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Women’s 49 Kg Weightlifting Event by lifting a total of 201 Kg.
- Bindyarani Devi won a Silver Medal for India in Women’s 55 Kg Weightlifting as she lifted a total weight of 202 Kg.
- Harjinder Kaur clinched the Bronze Medal in Women’s 71 Kg Weightlifting totalling 212 Kg.
- Sushila Devi won Silver in Women’s Judo 48 Kg Final as she lost the final match against South Africa’s Michaela Whitebooi.
- India’s Women’s Four Lawn Balls team created history by winning Gold at Commonwealth Games 2022, defeating South Africa, 17-10 in the Final.
- India’s Badminton Mixed Team won Silver as they lost the Final, 3-1 to Malaysia.
- India’s judoka Tulika Maan won Silver Medal as she lost to her opponent from Scotland in Women’s 78 Kg category in Judo.
