The precious time when you held her for the first time and she cocooned snugly in your lap assured that she will be protected from all harsh realities of the world! Now, that’s one moment each parent cherishes to the maximum. And it applies more to the case of fathers because as someone rightly said, a daughter is always a princess for her father. We just don’t need a single day to celebrate the light of the home, but rather every day is a celebration with their smiles enough to lift your mood in the darkest of times. So, this time International Daughter’s Day is on 25 September 2022, but let's pledge to celebrate every single moment with her, the biggest and most precious gift you received in your lifetime!

Here are some reasons why daughters are so extra special!

The Unbreakable Bond

Who says daughters are ‘paraya dhan’? They must surely be hugely mistaken. The bond of parents and daughters is unbreakable. Yes, they might go to a different home post marriage but her heart always lives with you. If you have a married daughter, we are sure, those few minutes’ phone calls that you receive often asking for your well-being (and scolding you for not taking care of yourself!) are proof enough.

She is Daddy’s Princess

No wonder daughters are always much more closer to their dads! As they say daddy becomes daddy cool with their precious daughters. Though they may be ready with a bat behind them to beat up any boys trying to get over friendly (Daddys are always over protective!).

Mom Relives her Childhood with Her

Be it dressing up those little dolls or playing with the kitchen set with her or simply dressing her all up in beautiful clothes. Moms feel like reliving their childhood with their lovely daughters. Yes, they are super strict at times but then they always want to cocoon their little baby away from any harm.

She is More Caring

Mostly daughters are more caring towards their parents. She is always there when you need her. Sons care too, but you can call it a little bit more natural for the daughters to become your mommy when she needs to, scolding, pampering and taking care of you in older age.

Without Her, Family Feels Incomplete

If she is away on a trip or has gotten married, all festival celebrations feel incomplete without her presence. Even if she comes over for a few days’ post marriage or if she works in another city, your days become festive and full of energy.

So, that’s why we feel daughters are extra special. You got some more reasons to add in here? We would love to know them; you can add it in the comments section below.
