You Are Significant

Timelines, manuals, demands, and instructions; from the time a woman is born till the time she is cadaverous, she is made to work like a machine. One may argue that times have changed however, some women are still afraid to cut loose and pursue their dreams and grab prospects coming their way because housework and family are their primacy.

I personally feel that it is important to start living for yourself.

 At least begin with one day a week!!!!

I have drafted a poetry with the hope to encourage women who are still afraid to break free. Remember, you are immensely significant.

Happy Women’s Day !

You are Significant

You overlook your predicaments and ascent mountains,

And yet you are labelled nothing but “Insignificant”.

You manage your chores, with rules that are concomitant,

And yet you are labelled nothing but “insignificant”.

You cook their favourite meals and iron their garments,

You never fail to clean and make necessary amendments.

You try to brew a day for all that is close to extravagant,

And yet you are labelled nothing but “insignificant”.

Put yourself “first” at least for a day in a week,

Develop your aptitudes instead of being bleak,

Build a personality for yourself that is strong and Gallant,

For my dear lady, you are implausibly Significant.

Open the shut doors and embrace new possibilities,

Cognize yourself and appreciate your capabilities.

The world maybe filled with people who are recalcitrant,

However, know your worth because you are Significant.
